NEW PROJECTS! Scouts may work on one or more of these fun and easy projects.

Book collection: Scouts and their parents can look through their book shelves for books to donate to needy children. Books must be in new or "like new" condition and for children ages 0 to 12 yrs old. Fill a box or shopping bag with books and bring to your next den or Pack meeting for credit. The books will be mailed to one of the many "Project Night Night" charities where they will be included in a care package for homeless children. Deadline for this project is April 6th.

Birthday cards: Scouts may make homemade birthday cards for the elderly at Cambridge Manor Nursing Home in Fairfield. Cards should be 8 1/2 x 11 folded in half with a pretty decorated cover and a nice message inside. Only include scouts first name (no last names please) and should include Cub Scout Pack 89 on the inside. At least 3 cards should be made per scout. Deadline for this project is also April 6th. ** Meet us this Thurs at Parks and Rec at 1:30 pm **

Spring Clean Up at Holland Hill school - TBD

Animal Control/rescue Center - We will visit sometime March/April- Scouts should help out by collecting old sheets/towels, dog or cat food, toys or bones so we can bring a box of goodies when we arrive.
